A blank canvas. The crown starts fully open so we can shape it from scratch, creating any crown and brim combination you like.

Our most luxurious felts. Hare and beaver are lighter and softer, hold their shape for years and handle weather better than wool.
Lightweight and breathable for hot Stampede days and summer weddings. Bangora is a smooth, durable woven material with the look of straw. Available seasonally.

Sizing
Every hat we fit is sized in person, but this chart helps if you're buying a gift or planning ahead.
Heads come in four general shapes: long oval, regular oval, round oval and round. A good fitting adjusts the hat to your shape so it doesn't pinch at the front or gap at the sides.

Felt & straw
Felt is warm and structured, and it's the classic choice from fall through spring and for evening events year-round. Hare and beaver handle the weather best.
Straw and bangora breathe in the heat. They're ideal for Stampede, summer weddings and long days in the sun.
Felt and leather sweatbands can tighten if they get soaked and dry in the heat. If your hat gets wet, dry it on your head, or somewhere cool and dry. Never near a heater.
Hat care
Store your hat upside-down on its crown to keep the brim's shape. You can also hang it on the wall or keep it in a hat can. Cover it with a bag to limit dust.
Let the stain dry first, then brush it off. Use a hat cleaner for anything stubborn.
Wool doesn't love rain, so try not to let it get soaked. Dry it on your head to avoid shrinking, and keep it away from heat while it dries. Cool and dry is best.
Quality felt can be cleaned, steamed and reshaped. Restoration from $50
